I planned a multi-city tour which included Dehli/Agra/Jaipur. For comfort and convenience, it made sense to hire a private driver. I researched nearly every major taxi, transportation and tour provider, and emailed several of the “finalists”; Deepak, the owner provided prompt, intelligible and no-nonsense responses to my every question.
Now, Fox India Voyages definitely is not exactly a big player in the industry, but if you want a cookie-cutter experience, it’s out there for you. Given that your experience in India ultimately comes down to how much a business owner cares about their reputation, you’d be well-advised to find a business owner that takes pride in the quality of his operation, and is willing to go the extra mile to make you happy.
I can say that by the time our trip was done, I felt like I had a friend in Akhil – he arranged EVERYTHING i’d asked for exactly as I’d requested, and more importantly, went above and beyond on some specific requests that most others wouldn’t care to be bothered with.
You have numerous options on car type, the drivers carry cold water and hand sanitizer, are insanely prompt, courteous and responsive.
Akhil is the star of this show, however, and will personally step in if needed to ensure a flawless experience. He has the ability to arrange transportation across wife swaths of territory, and our driver, Ashok was safe, careful, knowledgeable and respectful. Highly recommended and with incredible thanks – Akhil, you made a very special trip go off exactly as planned!
